I am a visual artist whose practice is primarily photographic. I use photography to engage with spaces in transition. With my camera I explore notions of place, the relationships humans have with their environment, and the methods employed for changing (in)habitable spaces.
My work is influenced by my training as a photographer and as an urban planner and by having lived in diverse settings – from rural to suburban to urban – across Europe and the United States. This background contributes to my site-specific photographic approach which focuses on the texture of change in specific locations.
