In 2007, the 11 mile-long blue fence was erected around the Olympic Park construction site. This blue fence prevented anyone from accessing the site and has led to significant disruptions of established spatial relationships between residents and their natural and built environment. The ODA is now in the course of replacing the blue fence with a high security fence.
